Amazon To Launch First Two Prototype Satellites For Its Kuiper Broadband Constellation In 2022

Along with SpaceX’s Starlink, Amazon has joined the battle to control broadband satellite internet connections with Project Kuiper — a constellation of 3,236 satellites that aims to provide “high-speed and affordable” broadband to tens of millions of people around the world. Former CEO Jeff Bezos’ company has been developing its solutions over the past few years, and 2022 could see the official debut of the first two Project Kuiper satellites. Robinhood Suffers Massive Data Breach; Leaks Personal Data of 7 Million Customers

Robinhood, one of the most popular trading platforms for stocks and cryptocurrencies, recently suffered a massive data breach. A third-party intruder gained access to the personal information of more than 7 million customers in this cyber-attack. The company says that although the attacker was able to access personal data like the full names and email addresses of customers, it does not believe that the Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or debit card numbers of the customers were exposed during the attack. Robinhood shared  a formal blog post  to announce the data breach. In the post, the company wrote that it  experienced a data security incident on the evening of 3rd November . Instagram Is Getting Ready To Launch Paid Subscriptions

Instagram is gearing up to launch a new feature in the form of paid subscriptions that will benefit both users and content creators of the platform. It will allow users to see “Exclusive Stories” from their favorite influencers as long as they pay a monthly subscription. According to  TechCrunch , the novelty is just around the corner and could soon reach the app. The social network also added prices to its application in the AppStore for the United States. According to TechCrunch, subscriptions cost $0.99 and $4.99. Paid subscriptions will allow influencers to sell access to additional content, much like Patreon does. The new feature will be part of a program that Instagram and its parent company Meta have launched to bring influencers to the platform.
